Jerusalem is thousands of years old and was settled in the 4th Millenium B.C.  The history of Jerusalem covers thousands of years and countless religions.  The Old City walls were built in 1538.  Since then, the city has outgrown those walls and has been extended.  Jerusalem is holy to the Jews because of the Temple Mount, which contains the Western Wall.  For the Christians, due to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre.  For the Moslems, the Dome of the Rock.

Travel to Jerusalem in an air conditioned mini van.  Start with a panoramic view from the Mount of Olives, see the new city of Jerusalem and the Temple Mount of the Old City.  During the drive, you will be able to see the walls of the city and the Garden of Gethsemane.  Entering the Old City by way of the Armenian Quarter, the tour arrives at the Western Wall.  Walk along to the Stations of the Cross, the Via Dolorosa and arrive at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre.  Continue on to the Byzantine main street that is over 1700 years old.  Visit the Cardo and the Jewish Quarter.  Walk up to Mt. Zion and - only on Saturdays - visit the Hall of the last Supper and David's tomb.  On all other days, visit Yad Vashem, the Holocaust Museum.
